Celery

Celery seed is a common spice but is also used as an herbal supplement. Its primary use is as a diuretic. This action may also be used as part of detoxification treatments. Celery seed does not come from the common celery we eat as a vegetable but rather from an ancestor plant of the current celery in use as a vegetable known as wild celery.
