Glutathione

Glutathione is a key if not the key intracellular antioxidant in the human body. It plays a protective role in maintaining cellular health against a wide variety of exogenous and endogenous compounds and stresses. The production of glutathione decreases with age and supplementation has been of benefit in a variety of situations. In addition to its roles in inflammation control glutathione is also important in detoxification pathways.
