MyHMB (HMB)

HMB is an amino-acid breakdown product that is naturally created in the body in the metabolism of the branched chain amino acid Leucine. It has been shown to have a broad spectrum of metabolic benefits primarily related to preventing sarcopenia, increasing muscle mass with weight training, decreasing soreness after athletic workouts, improving cardiovascular health and immune function. Additionally, it can have beneficial effects on by promoting weight loss and on fat loss with relative muscle preservation. HMB has also been reported to have beneficial effects on blood pressure and lipid profiles but it is not widely used for these indications.
